Glider improvements
So, I'm a big "movement" person, since traversal is simply how you navigate the game. Everything hinges on how you move, and I gotta bring up the glider.
I've never really been a fan of the whole "float" system, but I get that it has its place in some games. But the current system leaves much to be desired. First, the only way to go down seems to be either wait and just float down, or just fall. Why no descend options? 2nd, the boost is just boost vaguely down in a straight line. Would it be possible to make the boost follow the camera?
As another option, an alternate glider mode that operates more as a wingsuit rather than jetpack. Aerodynamic flying, ascent/descent, acceleration deceleration, could even make the boost for sustained flight. Would make on foot traversal not only easier, but much more entertaining.

Just curious , if dive using the shift let , and then hit boost at the end of the dive . Is that close to what you are thinking of ? -

Robert RzepkaI second this, my thought is to change the control scheme a bit so that when gliding it acts more like flying a plane. Changing the camera changes your pitch so you can trade altitude for airspeed and vice versa. Keep it simple make boost just a straight line boost let our camera/mouse do the flying.

Paul C.I hate having to deactivate the glider just to descend quicker when you could reasonably tilt forward and descend.

The KrakkenMaybe there is a 2nd Glider upgrade to unlock. I like the current glider as a starter...but I love when my experience is polished with progression. I like that the starter glider is a bit rough and floaty. It feels makeshift. But I would LOV E if I could craft a more advanced one that moves like this post describes.
