Custom map markers

Having the ability to place our own markers on the map would make it much easier to relocate interesting spots or resources we find while exploring.

With a map this large that’s procedurally generated I totally agree this is a must. I like going to the different outposts and setting up a temporary base of operations there. it would be nice to find me way back easier in between cargo runs

Desperately needed, since lighthouses past the first one don't have map markers, and you even lose track of your ship on the map after moving too far away from it.

thank goodness I have a decent sense of direction!

This would be solid improvement to our map and the overall exploration mechanic. Prioritizing this for an upcoming release.
