  Or just having the option to have the mats in inventory to upgrade/downgrade/swap the part directly! For example, switching from hard wood to cloth or makeshift to hard wood

  Please add the ability to upgrade pieces of the ship with the same piece of the next tier without having to dismantle or destroy existing hull pieces or storage or crafting benches. Also it would be nice if we could move a bench or storage bench, or even move a thruster or sail without destroying it first.
